Hebni Nutrition will host its first ever “Wobble for the Win” health and wellness awareness event on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at historic Tinker Field in Orlando. The event is designed to resemble a 5K race, but instead have participants gather together in a large dance and movement event. The free event is in celebration of National Minority Health Month will attempt to break an existing record for the amount of people doing the popular line dance, The Wobble at the same time. The current record is 2,241 which was achieved in Cincinnati, Ohio back in 2014.
“Not everyone can run a 5K, but just about anyone can Wobble” says Glen R. Providence, Executive Director of Hebni Nutrition. “We want this to be a fun event where anyone from ages 8-80 can participate while raising awareness to diet-related diseases including diabetes, hypertension and childhood obesity that disproportionately affect minority communities”, continued Providence.
Prizes will be awarded for various categories including the group with the most amount of participants and the oldest.youngest wobblers. Participants can register individually or form a team and recruit other team members. The event will also feature wellness screenings, healthy food trucks and a food drive giveaway at the conclusion of the event. Registration information can be found here.
